LONDON 25/04/2010 – Helen Mirren claimed that British actors are the most lazy actors around. The Oscar winning lady said that, compared the American actors, the British actors need much more time to study their lines. These comments are related to a production of A Month In the Country, in which she stared with several other successful actors. Film productions had to stop in the middle of shooting due to actors who did not know their lines and made fools of themselves on the set. According to Helen, her American Colleagues are much more dedicated to their work. The lady in question did not mention any individual British colleagues in particular..

Are British actors really lazy? I do not think that is true. This statement is only based on one women her opinion, and therefore not really reliable. I believe that it is rather disrespectful of Helen Mirren to talk about her colleagues like that, she is not making friends with this. And is she not a British actress herself? Does that not makes her lazy as well? There is no proof or whatsoever about British actors being lazy, they are just enjoying their profession. And be honest forum, if you were paid £8.000 a week to star in a film, would you not take as much time as possible..?

What Goes Up, Must Go Down...

The sudden popularity of MP Nick Clegg may come to an abrupt end. After winning the debate last Friday he became the hero of many Brits, but this may soon be over…

UK 22/04/2010 – Nick Clegg is put under pressure to explain why he was paid monthly by three senior businessmen during 2006, amounts up to £250 were disposed into Clegg’s private account each month. Clegg claimed that these deposits were for business purposes only and not for private use. After bringing up the issue of private funding in the first TV debate, Clegg can not leave these questions unanswered. “Any suggestion I did anything wrong is out of order and I'm going to publish the figures to prove it.” He stated. Hopefully the matter will soon be cleared.



Famous politicians always seem to be involved in scandals so I would not be surprised when our dear MP Clegg is not an exception to the rule. I am pretty sure that his opponents Brown and Cameron will seize this opportunity to make him even more black, but I would not be shocked if they turned out to be sinners themselves… Everyone makes mistakes and as long as you are not afraid to admit them, you can count on my vote. So for all you politicians out there, there is hope!

May the Best Man Be Victorious!

Tensions rose as the three leaders of the main political parties prepared for battle, surprising us all with the outcome…

ITV STUDIOS 16/04/2010 – Gordon Brown, Nick Clegg and David Cameron gathered at the studio to debate about their visions and ideas for their ‘New Britain’. Cameron and Brown got in a heated debate about a range of domestic issues while Clegg kept his head cool saying ‘The more they attack each other, the more they sound the same’. This caused him to get 61% of the votes, leaving his opponents far behind with 17% for Brown and 22% for Cameron. It is surprising that the leader of the Liberal Democrats has won the debate, this has not happened since 2005.

Politcs always seem to confuse people, at least it always confuses me. It is hard to keep track of who said what and who is in favour of who. I do have to say that debates like this are quite interesting, it is nice to see which leader is able to profile himself in a positive way. The question you can ask now is whether these debates are for showing your points of view or for showing of yourself? What do you think forum?

ST.AUSTELL 15/04/2010- Cliff Penrose may seem like your average 60-year old person, but looks are deceiving! This man possesses one of Britain’s greatest skills; bunny-whispering. His technique is simple but delicate, he uses a ritual that makes the rabbit relax and fall into a deep trance. When the rabbits wake up from their sweet dreams they feel relaxed and less stressed so the owner of the pet can go to bed light-hearted. It is a win-win situation.

When I first read the article I thought it was some sort of bad joke.... A bunny-whisperer? What questions me the most is how this man ever found out that he possesses these skills… I now have an image of this man where he chases rabbits around in his garden trying to make them feel more relaxed. In my opinion these bunnies just ‘play dead’ whenever they see him since he is their enemy. Making him believe that he has got the power… But if it is really true I am glad for him, every single man should have a hobby.

An Apple a Day Keeps the Docter Away!

Critics have once again proven to be right; pizza is bad for your health!
Our favourite Italian snack was witness of a horrible crime that took place in London, Hoxton Street.

LONDON 15/04/2010- A 16- year old girl was shot in the neck after a row in the Pizza store and is now in critical condition in the Hospital. The suspect is still unidentified but according to a 25- year old builder who lives on the estate the suspect must have been member of a gang. Just 45 minutes after the crime a 20-year old man was stabbed by a pub nearby, if the crimes are related is still a question….

I have always been a huge fan of pizzas but these stories make me want to switch to a safer snack, I can not imagine that something like this could happen to me. It makes you question the safety of your own hometown. A couple of years ago similar incidents happened in London and I think that it is wise for the government to increase the safety in their famous city. Perhaps they should place more cameras. What do you think bloggers? Should there be more cameras on the street or is this a violation of our privacy?
